She can not drown any more...
Yes...with lungs so full of water the cells have come to burst
this is a reality we must face, for god is dead if the exsistace was ever more than a notion in our head. A cry for something, to feel we are not alone. If the being exsisted, if more than thought made "truth", it has left us. Gotten bored with a creation that changes far too little to be of any use.
She suffered...
there is no peace
watching over you would see...
watching, as she fell and cried.
watching, as she screaming, begged for help
watching, as the waters rise
watching from behind these bars. With no way to save or end her long and painful suffering
with no way to stop the scene as it unfolds before your eyes...and no way out
there is nowhere to run or fly
in this cage
as you watch
the time goes by
the screams slowly fade
as the waters rise
and you know
you are next to die...
*The canary, for those who are unaware, was the most important tool builders and miners had, in the days before machines told us what air was fit to breathe. A caged canary, with it's tiny lungs, was carried with these men (mostly) and an early warning system. Toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and methane in the mine would kill the bird before affecting the miners. Because canaries tend to sing much of the time, they provided both a visual and audible cue. A precurser of death.*
